I enjoy being around people of all ages and backgrounds, hence I really want everyone to feel welcome in a place I own. I know a few of the regulars were very retired and came everyday. Re the bar I used to go to, it was a mix of ages, everyone had a good time. If you haven't listened to it, do, it's awesome. Heck, I'd even pipe some Pat Boone's metal CD through the place. I love music from the 50's on up so a mix of things in the hotel is ideal. Realistically, the younger crowd wants a nightclub while the older demo wants a lounge. Re a club, properly soundproofed, there's no reason why that can't attract young guests during the summer and busy days while it's used for more retro music on slower ones and during the winter. Service levels and great food kept the older guests happy, the club, Tryst kept the party people happy. Wynn did it right in 05 and 06, I know you'd agree with me that it was the best era for that hotel. KT, you are absolutely right, it is a fine line between keeping young and old happy.
